the Phillipines

The Phillipines has a culture that is centered around food and the close family community that shares it, with lots of savory vinegar flavors, and mostly served over rice. There is a large prioritization of not wasting any part of an animal or any resources, resutling in some unique dishes!

popular dishes include:

• Sinigang: a type of stew that has beef, potatoes, bok choy, and served over rice
• Adobo: a chicken or pork dish that has a strong vinegar flavor with bay leaves, and served over rice
• Pancit: a rice noodle dish with different veggies and chicken
